Shipra Jaipuria

Senior Manager, Aviation

Shipra Jaipuria is a senior manager at ICF’s Aviation - Airline & MRO practice in Delhi, bringing over 15 years of industry experience to her role. She specializes in fleet finance and management, as well as digital modernization. Her expertise includes MRO IT system selection and implementation, operations assessment and improvement, lease negotiation and management, and aircraft finance.

She supports clients in optimizing and enhancing complex business processes, managing change from the current state ("as-is") to the desired, optimized state ("to-be"). This includes creating solution blueprints and following the BOT (Build, Operate, and Transfer) methodology. She has also worked on creating and managing various leased aircraft programs, conducting lease analysis and reviews, incorporating best practices, determining aircraft-specific factors for fleet strategy, modeling cash flow, and valuing spares.

Prior to joining ICF, Shipra worked with IndiGo—India’s largest airline—as part of their aircraft acquisition and financing team. In this role, she was responsible for negotiating and finalizing aircraft leases and manufacturer/maintenance contracts, which involved techno-commercial and legal evaluations of aircraft transactions, as well as cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment of OEM contracts. Shipra also has hands-on experience managing complex staggered redeliveries, including re-negotiations with lessors due to typical engine situations in the industry.

Shipra began her career in corporate finance at a large government bank, where she was involved in debt financing and providing risk advisory services across various industries.
