Kelly Gibson

Sustainable Aviation Consultant

Kelly Gibson is a consultant with nearly five years of experience across corporate sustainability, low-carbon policy implementation, and international development.

Kelly Gibson is an experienced consultant with a robust background in delivering low-carbon projects, research, stakeholder engagement, and project management. Kelly started her career in corporate sustainability research and benchmarking, exploring how companies are delivering against sustainability goals. Her passion to accelerate the low-carbon transition led her to explore the role that policy plays as a driver for the shift to more sustainable activities. Through this, Kelly has worked with various clients across the UK Government, European Commission, and internationally on sustainability projects.

A key role Kelly took was supporting the implementation of low-carbon projects across Asia, Africa, and Latin America under the UK Government’s flagship climate mitigation programme, UK PACT (Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions). UK PACT delivered projects in Overseas Development Aid (ODA)- eligible countries, helping the acceleration of their climate change mitigation efforts.

Kelly is currently combining her corporate sustainability background with her low-carbon policy implementation experience to improve the sustainability of the aviation industry. She is working with a variety of clients, from airlines to governments, on projects ranging from developing sustainability strategies for airlines, to supporting the implementation of regulation accelerating sustainable aviation fuel uptake.

Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in geography from University College London and a master’s degree in environmental technology from Imperial College London, where she specialized in business and the environment.
