Company Will Help Large Utility Provide Reliable, Affordable Power Amid Rising Demand

RESTON, Va. (April 14, 2025) — A large electric and natural gas utility has awarded global consulting and technology services provider ICF (NASDAQ:ICFI) several recompete contracts and contract modifications valued at over $35 million to deliver residential and commercial demand-side management energy programs. The agreements were awarded in the fourth quarter of 2024.

ICF will continue to provide the Midwestern-based utility with tailored strategic planning and implementation solutions that support new home construction, trade ally and retail programs. ICF will leverage its proprietary AI-powered, cloud-based customer analytics platform to inform program design, engagement, implementation and evaluation plans. The platform’s advanced analytics will also enable monitoring program performance in real-time.

“Creating demand-side management programs that balance immediate energy savings with long-term resilience is critical to a utility’s strategic plan,” said Anne Choate, ICF executive vice president for energy, environment and infrastructure. “With decades of energy experience and industry-leading technology solutions, we enable fast, effective program optimization and an enhanced customer experience, helping utilities achieve their energy goals much more effectively."

ICF partners with the nation’s top utilities and developers, along with nearly every U.S. federal agency, state energy office and energy non-governmental organization, providing end-to-end offerings across the energy value chain—from strategy to planning and analysis to implementation and customer engagement. The company currently delivers hundreds of active demand-side management programs across North America.
