Open Source, Cloud-based Systems to Improve Healthcare Delivery
Reston, Va. (October 3, 2024)— ICF (NASDAQ:ICFI), a global consulting and technology services provider, was recently awarded an option year extension by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to continue modernizing the systems that monitor and report on the quality of healthcare for Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries.
The agreement, which was awarded in the second quarter of 2024, has a value of $35 million and a term of 12 months. This includes $18 million in expanded work beyond the initial scope of the contract and extends the period of performance by an additional five months.
CMS’ Internet Quality Improvement System (iQIES) will continue to be modernized using open-source and cloud technology, improving the overall security and useability of the platform and providing increased data transparency for regulators, policymakers and consumers.
