ICF One of Select Few Chosen to Compete for Priority Federal Data Projects
ICF (NASDAQ:ICFI), a consulting and technology services provider to government and commercial clients around the world, was selected by the National Technology Information Service (NTIS) as one of 35 industry and research partners eligible to compete to work with the agency on groundbreaking federal-wide data projects.
ICF joins an elite group of companies and research groups, all leaders in the field of data science and data analytics, to partner with NTIS to advance federal data priorities in key areas such as big data, open data, open access, cyber-physical systems, machine learning, smart cities and internet-of-things.
In a recent press release, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker describes these partnerships as an opportunity to “unlock new federal data that will leverage advances in data science, promote software development and accelerate innovation.”
ICF works with clients to build better relationships with their data by organizing and gleaning powerful insights from it then using these insights to tell powerful stories that encourage desired actions. ICF makes this possible by combining innovative data services and engagement capabilities with deep subject matter expertise in some of the world’s most critical industries including health, energy, homeland security, transportation and many more.
“ICF’s partnership with NTIS places us at the forefront of the federal government’s efforts to organize, analyze and transform the massive volumes of stored federal data into useful application to help drive informed decisionmaking and advance the needs of the American people,” said Kris Tremaine, senior vice president for ICF. “ICF’s selection as an NTIS data innovation partner affirms our expanding leadership role in data science and digital transformation.”
