ICF (NASDAQ:ICFI), a leading provider of professional services and technology-based solutions to government and commercial clients, was recently awarded a new contract with Great Plains Energy Services (GPES) to support subsidiary Kansas City Power and Light’s (KCP&L) residential energy efficiency programs. The contract has a value of approximately $11 million and a term of three years.
Under the contract, ICF will deliver KCP&L’s comprehensive portfolio of residential energy efficiency programs to help bring long-term savings and energy bill reduction to its customers. This includes providing overall program administration, retailer and trade ally recruitment, residential and multifamily building energy audits, data tracking, creative marketing services and incentive processing to support KCP&L’s multifamily, whole house and home lighting programs.
To support KCP&L, ICF expects to fully engage its powerful marketing, analytics and operation platforms including its proprietary Strategic Intelligence Management System (SIMS)—to inform marketing investments and customer engagement strategy; mobile Power Rebate App—to submit heating and cooling rebate applications in the field; and other customized apps and tools designed to make it easy for customers to participate in programs across the portfolio. ICF also plans to create relationships with trade allies to build a network designed to support KCP&L’s specific needs.
ICF combines the best tools and strategies with the right people to create a positive customer experience for our clients and their customers while always remaining focused on helping them meet their energy efficiency program goals, said Michaela Martin, vice president for ICF . We look forward to forging an enduring partnership with GPES and KCP&L to deliver low-cost energy savings to their customers and generate a high level of customer satisfaction.
