ICF International, Inc. (NASDAQ:ICFI), a leading provider of professional services and technology-based solutions to government and commercial clients, has been named to Forbes magazine’s 2016 “America’s Best Midsize Employers” and “America’s Best Management Consulting Firms” lists. Additionally, ICF is one of the highest-ranked professional services firms in the Washington metropolitan area.
“We are honored to be recognized as a best employer and a best management consulting firm by Forbes,” said ICF International Chairman and CEO Sudhakar Kesavan. “ICF provides employees with access to meaningful work that inspires people and changes the world. We strive to provide the respect and flexibility that enables people to do great work. ICF’s staff is full of incredibly bright, passionate, world-class individuals and teams.”
ICF is ranked No. 122 on the list of 250 “America’s Best Midsize Employers.” The list was created based on an online anonymous survey of more than 30,000 U.S. employees. Respondents were asked to rate 30 work-related attributes grouped in terms of atmosphere at work and potential for development, image, working conditions, salary, workplace and diversity. Employees also were asked how likely they would be to recommend their employer to someone and how likely they would be to recommend other employers. More than 1,900 employers were surveyed across 25 industry sectors.
Included by Forbes in its list of 250 “America’s Best Management Consulting Firms,” ICF also is recognized as being among the top 36 best management consulting firms for energy and environmental work. Results are based on two online surveys reaching a total of more than 8,500 respondents, who were asked to make recommendations of consultancies across industries and functional areas. Forbes cited ICF as receiving a disproportionately high number of colleague recommendations.
Forbes has recognized ICF on three previous lists. From 2009-2011, ICF appeared on the magazine’s list of best small companies.
