ICF International, a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, has named Dean Bakeris to the position of vice president on ICF's cybersecurity team.
Mr. Bakeris has more than 20 years of experience in systems engineering, program management and business development. He will manage federal business development efforts for cybersecurity and help to enhance ICF's emerging profile as a leader in cybersecurity consulting and advisory solutions.
"Dean brings deep domain knowledge and leadership experience in cybersecurity and business development to ICF," said Samuel Visner, senior vice president and general manager for ICF International. "He will be a great asset to ICF's continued growth in the cybersecurity market and help clients understand how our professional services can contribute to their success."
Prior to joining ICF, Mr. Bakeris held several senior positions, including director of business development for BAE Systems, where he led all sales and marketing activities associated with major accounts, as well as strategy for the BAE Systems Cyber growth campaign plan. In addition, he created company- and program-strategy for Raytheon as director of business development. In that role he was directly responsible for the creation and development of technologies, systems and services provided to the U.S. government, international and commercial customers.
Mr. Bakeris has a bachelor's degree in physics from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania, and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business.
