Scott Wolfson
Scott is an expert in national media relations, executive communications, media coaching, issues and crisis management, and strategic planning. He serves as a partner and senior media strategist, identifying synergies and opportunities across our social marketing and health communications accounts.
Scott leads a 40-person media relations practice and provides strategic media counsel, support, and training to federal agency directors, CEOs, and senior communications officials. Scott works with a wide range of clients, including the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA); the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI); the National Cancer Institute (NCI); the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); and the ChristianaCare Health System. Previously, he provided communications support for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the National Eye Institute (NEI), and Avanir Pharmaceuticals. As communications director and senior advisor to multiple chairmen at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Scott oversaw national and international product safety initiatives, led a rebranding campaign, secured national media coverage on high-profile product recall announcements and serious product safety hazards, served as the chief speechwriter, and spoke at international conferences.
