Chad Ricklefs
Chad Ricklefs is an environmental consultant with more than 23 years of expertise in managing complex environmental impact assessments and statements for federal agencies and third-party applicants.
Chad Ricklefs has more than 23 years of environmental consulting experience, specializing in the National Environmental Policy Act. He has extensive experience managing and preparing environmental impact statements and environmental assessments for federal agencies, including the Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, Bureau of Reclamation, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, as well as third-party applicants. His work experience includes public involvement, agency coordination, alternatives development, impact analyses, and environmental permitting for a variety of complex projects, including land management plans, energy development and transmission corridors; roadways and public transportation; water supply-supply projects; and recreational planning projects.
Chad has successfully completed numerous complex and controversial environmental impact statements for a wide variety of clients covering both local and nationwide projects at programmatic and project-specific levels, including the Bears Ears National Monument RMP/EIS, Coastal Plain Oil and Gas Leasing Program EIS, National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska Integrated Activity Plan and EIS, and the Utah Greater Sage-Grouse RMP Amendment and EIS.
Chad is also experienced in communication and public involvement, including coordinating with resource agencies, organizing and leading public information meetings, and conducting project advisory committee meetings.
