Jen assists clients with assessing and managing the risks and impacts from evolving hazards that threaten energy infrastructure.
Jen is an energy logistics and resilience expert with 10 years of experience, split between ICF and ExxonMobil. As director of the energy markets team, she assesses global energy markets and infrastructure for federal, state, and commercial clients. She focuses on energy disruption impact analysis and emergency response, energy assurance, biofuels pathways and integration, climate resilience, and cyber/physical security. Jen also oversees supply and demand analysis, market pricing analysis, and policy impact evaluations.
Jen leads the team supporting the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESER) response and restoration division, providing insight on energy disruptions from hurricanes and wildfires as well as cyber and human-initiated events. She assists the DOE in restoration priorities, analysis of dependent impacts on energy infrastructure, and the potential for energy outages for consumers.
Jen’s team provides support with energy assurance, energy infrastructure risk assessments, and resilience for New York, Hawaii, Florida, Maryland, South Dakota, and other states. Her commercial work includes industry associations, investment groups, and private companies. She brings practical petroleum industry experience, along with the knowledge of interdependencies between fuels, power, and alternative fuels, to provide credible and robust guidance to clients.
While at ExxonMobil, her experience included all aspects of the operational supply chain, from crude oil sourcing through refinery optimization and design to pipeline scheduling, distribution, bulk transactions, and terminal inventory management.
