Heather Goodson
Heather is an expert in historic preservation with more than two decades of experience in research, documentation, National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) evaluation, effects assessment, and regulatory compliance. She also conducts alternative analyses using Section 4(f) of the U.S. Department of Transportation Act, authors historic contexts, and collaborates with engineers and architects to prepare rehabilitation plans for historic properties.
Heather works extensively on Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and National Environmental Policy Act compliance projects. She is skilled at managing large and small projects with multi-disciplinary teams. Heather routinely collaborates with clients to identify strategies and solutions for project needs.
Heather earned two master's degrees from University of Oregon, one in historic preservation and another in community and regional planning, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Texas State University.
