John George

John serves as senior vice president and chief information officer for ICF, managing our team of global IT professionals. He leads all aspects of our information technology strategy and operations, including enterprise-level technology development and management. Additionally, he oversees our business process outsourcing and managed services businesses.

Prior to joining ICF in 2012, John served as chief information and innovation officer at Vangent, Inc., where he led the company’s technology strategy for customer-facing and internal systems. Before that, John held several technical and management positions at AT&T Solutions and Oracle. He also served as the chief engineer for the Information Network Program Office at the U.S. Department of the Navy Headquarters.

John sits on the Fairfax County Information Technology Policy Advisory Committee and is a member of the Cyber Security Advisory Board at Mary Baldwin University. He also serves as a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.

John was named a WashingtonExec Top CIO to Watch in 2022 and 2024. The Tech Council of Maryland named him CIO/CTO of the Year in 2008. InformationWeek named his team one of its top 500 Relentless Innovators.
