Sushmita Ajwani

Sushmita Ajwani is the director for power and renewables with nearly 15 years of experience in power advisory with expertise in corporate renewable energy power procurement and market regulations.

She has anchored projects in areas of open access market, renewable power transactions, and corporate power purchase agreements (PPAs). She has been a trusted advisor to key renewable power developers for entry strategy, regulatory support, PPA scouting, and open access (OA) approvals. She has also advised private and government utilities for procuring renewable energy. With the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and World Wide Fund (WWF), she has conducted workshops to support corporate organizations to understand the power procurement mechanism.

Early in her career, Sushmita also managed various projects for private equities, developers, utilities, and Electricity Regulatory Commissions (ERCs), that includes feasibility studies, demand assessments, due-diligence research, project structuring, entry strategy, financial analysis, etc.

Prior to joining our team, Sushmita worked with Feedback Infra Pvt. Ltd., where she led the team for power transactions and OA market.
