Srikant Datar, Ph.D.
Srikant serves on ICF’s Board of Directors as the lead independent director and is the dean of Harvard Business School.
Srikant received the George Leland Bach Award for Excellence in the Classroom from Carnegie Mellon University and the Distinguished Teaching Award from Stanford University. He is co-author of the leading cost accounting textbook, Cost Accounting: A Managerial Emphasis, published by Prentice-Hall. He also has published his research in prestigious journals, including The Accounting Review, the Journal of Accounting and Economics, the Journal of Accounting Research, Contemporary Accounting Research, and Management Science.
Srikant serves on the Board of Directors of Novartis AG, a healthcare products company. He has worked on consulting and field-based projects in management accounting and control with General Motors, Mellon Bank, Morgan Stanley, Entergy, DuPont, the Co-operative Bank, and other organizations. A chartered accountant, he belongs to the American Accounting Association and the Institute of Management Accountants.
