The Power Rebate™ app helps energy efficiency programs save time and administrative work on rebate submissions, while increasing customer satisfaction. Geocoding, barcode scanning, photographs and other native smart device features enable contractors to maximize rebate turnaround time without the errors that delay handwritten or online rebate applications.
"ICF International has blended its national energy efficiency expertise, mobile technology and digital engagement capabilities to deploy the industry’s first mobile app designed specifically to address the pain points that are common in energy efficiency programs," said Mike Mernick, senior vice president for ICF International. "The Power Rebate™ app leverages today’s smart devices and integrates in-depth program expertise to streamline and optimize the customer and service provider rebate experience for energy efficiency programs."
Contractors can now complete and submit rebate forms from the field, eliminating the typical one-to-three week delay for forms to process through back-office administration and letting customers receive their rebate checks quicker. The app was piloted with several companies participating in Ameren Missouri’s energy efficiency HVAC program, including Academy Air in St. Louis, which recently deployed it with field technicians.
"The app is very easy to use and is intuitive," said Carl Petee, warehouse and installation manager for Academy Air. "Features like the GPS automatically completing the address helps to quickly collect information and speeds the rebate submission process."
Power Rebate™ is also integrated with Imperial® Manifold®, an app and hardware which measures and calculates the HVAC system performance and troubleshoots system problems through user inputs and dynamic, live system data, which means that contractors benefit from a seamless experience, without the need to duplicate any data entry.
