Pradeep Podal

Pradeep is an energy expert with more than 15 years of experience spanning energy engineering to wholesale and retail U.S. power markets. His region of focus includes Southwest Power Pool, Midcontinent Independent System Operator, and Southeastern Electric Reliability Council areas. He has worked extensively on power market research and modeling to provide asset valuations, cash-flow forecasts, market modeling, and market advisory support for various clients, including independent power producers, banks, investment firms, and utilities.

Pradeep’s expertise also includes renewable energy systems, specifically on-field installation experiences with megawatt-scale photovoltaic power plants and renewable natural gas systems. He is skilled in data science and analytics, Python, C++, and databases, and he has previously implemented software tools for renewable energy systems. 

Pradeep holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics from the University of Mumbai and a master's in energy systems engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
