ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI), a leading provider of professional services and technology-based solutions to government and commercial clients, was recently awarded a new contract with the European Commission’s (EC) Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME). The contract was awarded to Brussels-based ICF Mostra and has a value of 32.5 million euros for a maximum term of four years.
ICF will help EASME as well as the Directorates General for Climate Action, for Agriculture and Rural Development, for Mobility and Transport, for Energy and for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) conceptualize, organize and implement small- to large-scale events including conferences, workshops, training sessions and award ceremonies. Each individual or series of events will be designed to address one or more key objectives: raising awareness, message delivery, information dissemination and sharing, participant networking and stakeholder/audience engagement.
“ICF views each event as a unique and comprehensive communication opportunity, one which we customize to the specific purpose and objective of the individual client,” said Tobias Schäfer, managing director for ICF Mostra. “In doing so, we apply a strategic mix of innovative event services and technologies, creative use of platforms and channels and innovative tools and tailored content to help audiences connect—and engage—on subjects of great importance.”
“ICF is fully prepared to support the broader communication goals of the EC as well as help address the communication and engagement challenges faced by the European Union (EU),” said Gene Costa, senior vice president for ICF International. “This contract is a great example of one of the many ways ICF is assisting the EU and its member countries’ directorates and agencies fulfil their missions.”
ICF Mostra has a 15-year track record of successfully delivering event-related services to European institutions and other international organizations. A full-service consultancy, the firm manages every aspect of event organization and implementation—ranging from conceptualization, venue preparation and stakeholder engagement to media strategy and content creation—all under one roof.
